Why the 2022 Honda Civic is an Excellent Choice for Winter

The 2022 Honda Civic is loaded with features designed to make your life easier, more comfortable and safer, which is why it's a great choice for winter.

A reassuring ride

The 2022 Honda Civic comes standard with electronic traction and stability control. This system uses sensors to detect if the wheels are slipping on the road. If the drive wheels slip during acceleration, Traction Control reduces engine power and applies the brakes to the affected wheel until it regains satisfactory traction. If the vehicle veers off of the driver's intended path, Stability Control intervenes by braking the wheels on the opposite side of the skid, bringing the Civic back on track. All of this happens without driver intervention, allowing you to focus entirely on the road.

Features that keep you connected

Every 2022 Civic comes with a powerful 8-speaker audio system that lets you stream your favorite music through Apple Car Play and Android auto, which offer wireless connectivity on the Civic Touring, which also gets a premium Bose audio system. A 7-inch touchscreen is standard on all models except the Civic Touring, which instead gets a 9-inch unit that includes navigation, HD radio and Sirius XM satellite radio.

Equipment designed for your comfort

To help you brave the cold, the 2022 Honda Civic is equipped with several features designed to keep you warm. Heated front seats are standard on all Civic models, as is automatic air conditioning with air filtration, single-zone on the entry-level LX model and dual-zone on all other trims, allowing you and your front passenger to set the temperature that's best for each of you. Many other features are available on higher-end models, such as a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats, so all your passengers can travel in comfort.
