The all-new 2023 Honda HR-V introduced today is the new generation of the very popular Honda entry-level SUV. The latest generation of the Honda HR-V takes over where the first generation left off after having served thousands of happy customers with its impressive versatility as well as its exceptional fuel economy. The first generation of the Honda HR-V was so popular because it managed to blend incredible interior space with an agile, small format that made it easy to drive in the city. Moreover, the Honda HR-V was and is very fuel-efficient despite its size.
A bold design with more comfort and performance
Now, Honda is bringing a second HR-V to the market with a bold, new and sportier design featuring a longer hood, larger grille, and a wider stance. Honda says it has also dramatically improved the comfort level and the refinement of the new Honda HR-V.
The 2023 Honda HR-V will go on sale this summer and Honda says it will feature a more responsive engine along with a new design for the independent rear suspension. Although Honda didn't go into the details about the specs of the new Honda HR-V, the automaker did say that we can expect more comfort and a sportier overall personality for its entry-level SUV.
Already one of the most spacious small SUVs you can buy, the 2023 Honda HR-V will be even bigger in its new generation. Bigger in the sense that it will offer more interior space and more cargo room, but it will still be agile in the city, and it will still feel a lot smaller than it actually is just like the current HR-V.
"The all-new, sub-compact HR-V will attract a new generation of customers with its upgraded and enhanced features, the perfect introduction to our "Year of the Honda SUV" with the all-new CR-V and Pilot still to come," says Steve Hui, Assistant Vice President Honda Canada. "The HR-V has gained qualities beyond its segment while retaining the reliability, durability and versatility it is known for. Making it a leader with young, diverse buyers looking for a SUV that can hit city streets and rural roads with ease."
