The 2023 Honda CR-V is a stylish and sophisticated vehicle, boasting an aggressive presence thanks to its increased overall length (+68.6 mm), 40.6 mm longer wheelbase and 10.1 mm extra width.
Step inside this 6th generation model and you will find simple, clean surfacing and high-quality materials that create a luxurious feel. There are many new features offered in the CR-V that improve comfort as well, and the rear seats can even incline 8 degrees.
Outside, front and rear facias feature a piano black grille mesh with chrome trim, all-LED vertical taillights, body-colour side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a sleek body-colour roof spoiler, rectangular exhaust finishers and matte/piano black spoilers (depending on the model). An impressive metal honeycomb mesh across the dash further accentuates the interior's striking design direction.
It has a lot of cargo space
The latest CR-V offers its largest cargo capacity to date, with 1028 L placed behind the rear seats (+34 L). By opting for an LX, EX-L or Sport version, you can benefit from the lower rear load floor, upping the storage space to an impressive 1112.8 L. Moreover, folding down the 60/40-split rear seatbacks takes the capacity to an even greater 2166.2 L.
It offers two engine options including a hybrid powertrain
The 2023 Honda CR-V is offered with a new and improved version of its 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, or a brand-new hybrid engine. Refined and powerful, its two-motor hybrid electric system provides 204 hp of combined output and 247 lb.-ft. of torque. The 1.5-litre turbo engine in the LX, Sport and EX-L boasts improved emissions performance and up to 190 hp at 6,000 rpm. The high-efficiency turbocharger and 4-2 exhaust port cylinder head combine to deliver peak power over a wider rpm range. Additionally, the torque peak of 179 lb.-ft. now kicks in 300 rpm earlier from 1,700 to 5,000 rpm for faster response times and reduced engine noise.
